Since 2011, I’ve spent most of my evenings working on designs. Now, I can see a home during the day and immediately picture in my mind’s eye how it would look with great lighting. However, so many “lighting designers” lack this essential experience. In many cases, the people who call themselves experts in the field are landscapers or lighting franchisees who have taken a 1- or 2-day class and spent the majority of their time learning about the product, installation, and sales process.
But lighting design isn’t just about technical know-how: there’s artistry involved. With this in mind, we have taken our collective experiences and designed one of the most comprehensive lighting design training programs in the nation.
